Objective: To set up regional offices for John Brown UAE and John Brown India.

Action: In 2013 I was responsible for the legal and logistical set up of the Middle East branch of global content marketing agency, John Brown Media. This involved office location and set up, recruitment of a sales and creative team, management accounting and trade license application, as well as new business prospecting, pitching and client management. In 2016 I expanded our client portfolio into India, overcoming forex barriers and unchartered business practices to develop a new and expansive market for John Brown.

Delivery: By 2016, three years after launch, John Brown UAE was the most profitable entity within the Dentsu Aegis Network’s MENA region. The team launched with 4 people in 2013 and had reached 17 by 2019 becoming one of the most profitable markets for John Brown globally. Having won two major contracts in Mumbai and Bangalore in 2017, India quickly became an exciting new market for John Brown.
